The brothers of Alpha Pi Lambda are very excited about their upcoming recruitment schedule which begins this week. A list of all the events can be found of the Rush tab located on the toolbar above. During the weekend of October 2nd and 3rd, the alumni and brothers of Alpha Pi Lambda gathered together at the Apple Pi house to engage in some house revamping. Over the course of the two days, the brothers embarked on projects both inside and outside the house. On the outside, the brothers focused on mulching and weed removal. Inside, they gutted two rooms in the basement to open up more space while also finishing a porch located outside one of the rooms on the second floor. Overall, it was a very productive two days and the brothers and alumni look forward to having another work weekend in the Spring. |

Recently, the Alpha Pi Lambda brotherhood has grown with the addition of 13 new members from the Fall 2009 pledge class. The initiation was held on Saturday February 13th as families and alumni flooded the Alpha Pi Lambda house to see these men become brothers. These new members hope to keep the tradition of the Pi going as well as improve the fraternity over the course of the next five years. The new class includes pledge President Kenny Hamson, Alex Miller, Andy Jones, Anthony D'Ambrosio, Bob Sorgi, Greg Herman, Jeff Wang, John Stanley, Kevin Sawicki, Matt Miller, Matt Remner, Phil Williams, and Tyler Aaron. Congrats to the new class! |

As a new decade begins, so does a special year for the brotherhood of Alpha Pi Lambda as it is our 75th Anniversary. Apple Pi was founded on Drexel's campus on March 3rd, 1935. Over the years, we have continued to grow and improve in all aspects of brotherhood. This upcoming March, we will be celebrating the occasion with our annual Anniversary Ball, which will be held in the Great Court in the Main Building. Not every fraternity can say that they have been on campus for 75 years, so it truly is a momentous occassion. |

On February 1st, the brothers of Alpha Pi Lambda will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Apple Pi house, which is located at 216 N. 33rd St (intersection of 33rd St. & Powelton Ave.). The event will take place between 12pm-6pm. With all that is going on around the world, it is important that we do everything we can to help save lives. The people in Haiti are going through devastating times and taking 15 minutes of your own time can help a great deal. We ask that you please make an appointment and sign up at http://www.redcrossblood.org/, and the sponsor code is 5617. 1 pint of blood can save 3 lives! We hope to see you there. |
