Today, Alpha Pi Lambda is one of the strongest organizations on Drexel's campus, while remaining the only local fraternity or sorority. The Pi's dedication to community service, philanthropy, and academics truly has garnered the fraternity not only respect in the Interfraternity Council's eyes, but also in the eyes of Drexel's administration. With close to 50 brothers, Alpha Pi Lambda can accomplish a lot. Some of the things we do each year include blood drives held each term, a philanthropic volleyball tournament, participation in Philly Cares day, and various other programs around Drexel's campus and the city of Philadelphia itself. The Pi also keeps strong ties with our alumni and realize that without the help of the alumni corporation, the fraternity would not be where it is today. Each year, a holiday party is hosted at the close of Fall term in order to bring the alumni back to the house and mingle with the undergraduates. The main event of the year is the Anniversary Ball (A-Ball) which is help every year around Alpha Pi Lambda's anniversary. 2010 marks a momentous year for the Fraternity as the Pi is celebrating its 75th anniversary. This year's A-Ball was held in the Main Building at Drexel on March 13th, 2010 as over 230 people came together to celebrate all that is the Alpha Pi Lambda fraternity. In the forthcoming year and years to come, Alpha Pi Lambda looks to improve in all aspects of fraternalism while continuing its dedication to the community and Drexel University.
